Our Journey Continues — This year, we made a meaningful return to Silverleaf Primary School, the very institution where our Back to School Drive journey began in 2022. What makes this return particularly special is the commitment we’ve renewed to invest in the futures of eight exceptional young learners.
A Historical Moment
Our first Back to School Drive at Silverleaf PS in 2022 holds a special place in our organization’s heart. On 05 March 2022, as we worked alongside the school community, we also remembered and honored the memory of Zenazi Ndinani Ngumbela — a moment that deepened our resolve to serve and uplift our youth.
Investing in Excellence
This time, we’ve taken a different approach to our support. We have carefully adopted 8 learners who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, spanning from Grade R to Grade 7. These are young people who are already showing tremendous potential and a commitment to their education.
A Long-Term Commitment
What sets this initiative apart is our vision for sustained impact. We are not simply providing one-time assistance. Instead, we have committed to:
- Supporting these learners annually with school essentials and resources
- Walking alongside them throughout their academic journey
- Nurturing their potential until they reach Grade 12
This multi-year mentorship and support program represents our belief that true change comes through consistent, meaningful investment in young people who are ready to excel.
The Power of Belief
By identifying and supporting learners with strong academic results, we’re sending a powerful message: we believe in you, we see your potential, and we’re here to help you reach your goals. Education is the foundation for breaking cycles of poverty and creating opportunities for brighter futures.
Our gratitude goes to everyone who continues to support our mission. Whether through donations, sponsorships, or volunteerism, you are helping us build a stronger, more hopeful future for South Africa’s youth.
Together, we invest in tomorrow’s leaders.
